Saw the New Year in from my tent at Piha, where I spent three days in company with the Cowans in their caravan. This is the view from my tent, facing Lion Rock.
An evening stroll with Matt the dog and John, chatting to others on the beach.
Mum, Dad, Catherine Gardner and her Aunt Breda came out for a visit on the 30th Dec.
Did a long two-hour walk along the ridge line to Karekare beach.
Helen and Liam came out and had bbq with us on New Year's Eve before watching the Sound of Music in the caravan.
